Tobacco Field

is is a tobacco field up the road from our house. All of the plants are equal in size and have gotten to this stage without irrigation that I know of, we have had several small rains of one half of an inch or less. It looks like we are going to have another long hot summer, hopefully not as drastic as the drought condition that we lived through last summer. Some of our trees and bushes are now showing the strain that the drought of last summer posed on them. We have had several trees die and some of the flowering shrubs and not looking to good at this time. I would like to water all of them, but I do not want to take a chance of running our well dry and having to hook onto the local county water system. I do not like the taste of the chlorine and other chemicals that they put into their water. The second picture is one of the first blooms that I have seen this year.
