As promised, I did some more work on our new fish pond and it really is shaping up. I am undecided as to how I am going to close around the outside. I have thought about putting in some evergreen, such as the low growing ground cover spreading juniper. The dwarf variety does not grow tall and runs along the ground. It will probably look good with some of our field rocks mixed in between. Also Might plant a few hosta in the area along with some other annuals. That is down the road a few days, with help from DW it will be much eaiser, she has a very good eye for detail and what makes something look good. In a few more days there will be some little fish moving into this pond, we have not decided what to put in yet. I even considered catching a few small bream out of the farm pond and try to see how they work out. I will have to study on this for a while to find out what they eat and how to take care of them. Thats it for this time.
