Sue, the fish that we rescued is in this photo, the one with the three point tail. It is doing real well in it's new pond. It was the one that we got out of the old pond that was full of muddy water.

Hydranger bush that I ordered from Spring Hill several years ago. It has finally grown large and has a lot of blooms.

Stargazer lillies that I planted last year around our bluebird house in the back yard.

A little info on our garden, our neighbor Don has been a lot of help getting me back into raising a garden. It has been over thirty to thirty five years since I planted a garden. We have had a few stringbeans and small potatoes. Boy were they good.

Tomatoes are almost as large as a baseball, hope to have some ripe ones by the end of the month.

I'm finally getting an idea how to take fast moving objects, if I were as smart as the camera, I could take some really good shots.

I am trying to learn how to shoot fast moving objects, these appear to be faster than a jet. I will keep trying, you have to be quick and I guess this will sharpen your reflexes.

I finally got enough nerve to buy another car, "Yes, I know it looks like I'm trying to relive the past", but you know what I don't care I like my new car. Has a lot of bells and whistles that I have to learn about, such as, it lets you know when a tire is low in air.

Just a few photos from the 230th year celebration of Warrenton. There was a large crowd with many vendors selling all sorts of items and different types of food.

Just a few shots from around our yard, the beautiful flowering shrubs are really great this year, we have had a little more rain than last year. We have not seen any honey bees yet, hoping to see some soon. The ants and the bumble bees have been busy and we also had a scout humming bird show up day before yesterday, so I guess we will see more hummers in a few days.

Here are a few of the many photos that I took at the 2009-2010 Haliwa-Saponi Annual Powwow held at the Haliwa-Saponi grounds. There were many participants doing the many type of dances and also several different drum groups. It was a beautiful day with the temperature in the mid seventies, sunshine and a slight breeze. You could not have had a better day for this event. Outside of the dance area there were many vendors selling all types of Indian memorabilia and many food booths. The new princess was crowned at 1:00 p.m. and she is in one of the individual photos on this page. Maybe more photos of this event later.
