Jolly is our neighbor's dog that she adopted.
Annie is our neighbor's other dog.
Our pond has risen almost two feet due to the recent rains.

This was a clump of some type of moss or fern that was growing next to our front yard.

This is Bubba on my heating pad, he thinks that he owns it and lets me use it sometime. If I get up for anything he jumps on the pad.

Spring Is Upon Us

Our pond has risen up under the pier again, but still needs a lot more water.

Dandalions seem to grow very well in our soil.

A bed of small rocks have piled up in a bend in our creek.

Wonder what beauty of nature came out of this cacoon.

More Jonquils are beginning to bloom.

A white one that has little specks of dirt on it.

If you leave a door open for a second and turn your back guess who slips inside. If you ignore him he will come out in just a few seconds.
Our creek got a lot of water and washed the leaves downstream, and a whole lot of new sand in the bottom.

Another shot of the new sand in the creek bottom. With the light bottom you can see the little minnows better.
Fresh Raccoon tracks can be see in the sand next to the water.
Baby Sister has to lick the storm door each time it rains, she is saving us from the rain.

The fish are waking up and starting to eat again. They have not eaten all during the cold weather. Now that the weather is warming up they have come up from the bottom waiting for us to feed them.
This was a heart shaped rock that we found on one of our walking paths. If you click on this photo you will be able to see the fish in our farm pond better. They look like black spots in the smaller photo.

This is a snail that we found beside the walking trail and it looks like it is digging a hole for who knows what. May be to have young snails!!

This is a flying squirrel that has taken up residence in another of our Bluebird houses in our backyard. We already had one in the front yard. Perhaps it is an offspring of the ones in the front yard.

Snow Pictures March 2, 2009

Just a few of the many photos that I shot of the snow that began late last night. It was hanging on every little limb and branch.
