Norlina VFD on left competes with Macon VFD in the Command Post event. The six firemen with the hoses are blindfolded and the fireman in the tub has to direct them to get the water in the tub. This has a one minute time limit and the team with the most water wins.
Medic has his fire helmet on and is ready for action.

This future fire fighter already has her fire helmet as he waves to the crowd. Roy, sorry about the mistake.

The noise for some of the little folk is just to loud and some of it was quite bad for the older generation.

There was a very large turnout for the field events in this years Fireman's Day and they all came prepared for bad weather and had their tents set up.

Norlina VFD works hard at filling the barrel as quickly as possible.

Another future fire fighter rides atop the truck from her fire department.

Warrenton Rural VFD dips and flips the water buckets as fast as they can trying to best all the other scores.
