This is a real old popular tree that is on our farm, it has withstood wind storms, ice, lightning strikes. It is now hollowed out and still alive and standing. DW and I were taking our daily walk and it was real cold, but I talked her into standing in front of the tree to give you an idea how big it is, I think it is at least 8 to 10 feet in diameter.

I had and old Oak tree back of the house that was over 7' threw the center head high off the group. My Dad and I cut it up after it feel and with a 3' blade we had to wedge cut it to get it in half. Depending on weather I want to head up near your way and get some shot of Lake Largo's damn.
