
It is not very often that you get the chance to photograph two wrens together, due to them being so hyper active. They are a curosity to watch and they build their nests in very strange places, like tools hanging on walls, in old buckets and even your air hose to your compressor if it is not used very often. Last year I had one build a nest in one of my big lawn mowers and DW would not let me use the mower until the babies hatched and moved out. I'm glad we found it before I started the mower.

Oh, I LOVE those Carolina wrens. I was always amazed that such a tiny bird had such a loud and piercing call. And you're right, they do build their nests in the oddest places - we had one build in one of my gardening gloves when we accidentally left the door ajar to the shed - we had to leave the door open until the nesting was done!
