The flags are put out each Memorial Day weekend to honor our fallen troops who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Everyone should take a moment to remember these troops and realize that they gave all for the freedoms that we take for granted. God Bless America and all of our troops at home and all over the world. Thank You
Baby Sister taking one of her many daily strolls and inspecting my newly planted grass. The nightime animals must like it also, there are many deer tracks every morning.
I found this little critter while I was cleaning up a limb that had fallen during the night while a rain storm was passing over. I just happened to look up and it was right over my head, so I quit working and went and got my trusty nikon to take a photo. This afternoon I checked and it was still on it's perch, but had turned in the opposit direction. For a larger view just click on the picture.

The photo at the top is the original photo and the two below have been enhanced using one of my photo processing softwares. Just experimenting to see how things can be changed.
This is my DW on the left and she is a twenty eight year survivor, thanks to the Lord. On the right is my dear cousin Becky who was disagnosed this year with cancer and she is currently undergoing treatment. Our prayers are with her every day and look forward to the day that she will be pronounced cancer free.
The purple iris was a volunteer that came up in my row of lariopi and I left it and it has produced several nice blooms. The yellow plants are water cannas and I have them in my goldfish ponds.

These are photos that I took at the 2008 Relay for Life in Warren County, N.C. DW and other friends are Survivors and I take photos each year of this event and have some put in the newspaper that I freelance for and send them photos to choose. The Flower at the top is a photo of one that was given to each survivor.
